While checking our records and updating our counter on our homepage, we realised that we have given out over £3 million in loans to Start-Ups across England and Scotland! That's another bar filled on the Transmit's Official Totaliser (seen above).
We are so thankful to the Partners and Mentors that have referred so many Start-Ups in to us. Its also great to see so many Scottish businesses coming on board. Here are three that we have helped lately:
Pixel Blimp - Four Graduates have created a games company, called Pixel Blimp, based in Dundee. They have won support from the global IT giant Microsoft to develop their unique games based on flying small paper planes.
Video City - James Lang is one of Glasgow's most experienced young film-makers and has created a new business called Video City. His company produces marketing videos for both the music industry and retail clients.
Edinburgh Bike Fitting - An expert sports scientist, Douglas Shaw, from Edinburgh, had started a new business called Edinburgh Bike Fitting. It specialises in bespoke adjustments and measurements of cycles to maximise both performance and comfort for the rider.
