About Laura White

Laura’s career in communications began as a trainee at her beloved local newspaper some 20 years ago. After qualifying with the National Council for the Training of Journalists and working through the ranks, she became business editor before moving into public relations. She’s worked as an advisor at a large creative agency, as part of in-house teams and now runs her own consultancy Laura White PR, where she uses her experience to help businesses and organisations to communicate effectively. As a small business owner, Laura loves working with the Transmit Startups’ community to help celebrate the success of the UK’s entrepreneurs. Laura is CIM-qualified, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a graduate of Google’s Squared Online Digital Marketing course.
