Our staff are what make Transmit Start-Ups the great company it is, so we want to show off our members of staff and let you get to know them a little more too! So in our latest installment of ‘Meet the Staff’, we introduce you to Rosa Barnett, our Client Services Assistant. We grabbed a quick cuppa with Rosa to find out more about her role within Team Transmit…
Client Services Assistant. Our team are at the front of the application process, we answer the phones and help with any updates, enquiries or questions. We then process the applications and check the applicant is eligible for the loan before they are assigned to a business advisor. I focus on our referral partners who work outside of Transmit, but guide applicants through the Transmit Start Up Loan process. I help with the ongoing support after the applicants have received their loan, we offer a range of support which I email about after the loan has been received.
A typical day at Transmit is processing application forms, performing credit checks and requesting additional documents. We try to get as many people through the process as we can so we are as thorough as we can be.
I have a degree in Business Studies so I have always been interested in the world of business and it’s great to work in a team who helps so many people to achieve their potential.
I like being creative when out of the office, especially baking.
I like being part of a supportive team who do our best to help as many people as we can to start up their dream business. It is great to walk down the street and spot a thriving business, who came through Transmit.
When we ask for a specific document, it is because that is exactly what we need and we cannot accept anything other than that. We don’t like sending emails saying we cannot use this and that, as we can imagine how frustrating it is for applicants too. If we get the exact document we specify, the process will go a lot smoother.
"We’re delighted to be the 2000th loan recipients!"
